Alice Thatcher

Alice Thatcher is an artist based in Stoke-on-Trent who works with clay and people. Since graduating from the University of Sunderland in 2012, Alice has been working with organizations such the British Ceramics Biennial, Appetite Stoke, B-Arts and Creative Health CIC, facilitating clay workshops and working on various community, school and participatory projects in the local area. With clay, communities and wellbeing as her focus, she believes it is extremely important to teach people new social and cultural ideas using creative mediums, and to experience the versatility, beauty and heritage of clay.
