Interests

I am interested in photography’s relationship with ideas about place and identity, and in particular how the photograph as part of a series can be used as a tool for describing, mapping and understanding things beyond regular experience.

Philosophy 

In 2017 I believe that photography is a vital tool for driving change.
In these times communication is important, particularly in helping to find voices for the vulnerable, overlooked, and unheard spaces and people within our society.

My current photographic practice consist of working closely with local community groups to help realise socially engaging photographic projects.

Daniel’s photography has helped us to create some outstanding visuals in the communities which we have worked in which we have been able to use to capture every day life in our communities. His photography helps us to tell stories and show the progression which is being made in the neighbourhoods which we support.

His visuals can be used when mapping the assets in your community and his ability to produce stunning images from activities and events held in the community ensure that we are able to capture the stories being created in our communities.
