Community Ventures are working in partnership with Stoke on Trent City Council with the aim of reducing loneliness and isolation throughout the City.

Loneliness affects our health and quality of life; it also impacts on the wider economy, the NHS and social care.

A pilot scheme covering the Longton East area will focus on reaching lonely and isolated people with in the area.

The aim will be to raise awareness that loneliness and isolation can be prevented and anyone can be affected.

We strive to get people talking, build on the reputation that Stoke is a friendly City. Connect and listen to residents and businesses. Improve emotional wellbeing and mental health.

We hope to create in Longton East, a community where people keep an eye out for one another and develop a safe network of friends, partners and services to support everyone’s needs.
